O2 Dental Group is pleased to announce the opening of O2 Dental Group of Raleigh. The Raleigh office is the sixth O2 Dental Group office to open in North Carolina.
The Raleigh dental office, located in the 5401 North community at 5321 Tin Roof Way Suite 102, just off the intersection of Louisburg Road and I-540, opened its doors and began seeing new patients on February 15, 2023.
Dr. Olusegun Oyegunwa, known as “Dr. O” or “Dr. Olu,” by his patients, and Dr. Lydia Oyegunwa are the husband and wife team of dentists practicing at the Raleigh office.
Dr. Olu is a graduate of North Carolina State University and received his dental degree from UNC. He has been offering dental services for the past 11 years.
Dr. Lydia is a graduate of UNC and received her dental degree from ECU.
O2 Dental Group’s extended weekday hours will be popular with families and individuals. The clinic is open Monday to Friday with extended hours until 7:00 p.m.
O2 Dental Group will be focused on providing comprehensive dental services to the community and will offer new patient specials on emergency exams, and complete exams and cleanings.

Raleigh Dentists on Staff
Dr. Lydia, who is from the African nation of Ghana, moved to Fort Worth when she was four years old. While playing volleyball for the Seminole (OK) State Trojans, she developed a love for the health sciences and in 2008, met Dr. Olu while studying at UNC-Chapel Hill. She completed her education at the ECU School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. O, who was born in Nigeria and moved to the United States at the age of 9, is known for his conservative approach to dental care with a strong emphasis on prevention. He earned his undergraduate degree in Microbiology at NC State and later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UNC-Chapel Hill. After pursuing an extensive Advanced Education in General Dentistry training program at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Fayetteville, Dr. O now focuses on fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant placement and restorations, and oral surgery.
